The Turning Point: Why Christian Entrepreneurs Must Pick Up the Mic Now

Why Christian business owners can no longer build businesses without God at the center.

We’ve all seen it—the graphic images over the last week. Innocent people killed on their way home on the bus. A school shooting. A public assassination.

The horrific killing of Charlie Kirk stirred something deep within our spirit. For many, it was an awakening of faith—the spark of revival. Millions flocked to church, opened their bibles for the first time in years, and questioned what they truly believed.

Revival isn’t coming. Revival is here.

This struck home for me and countless others because we share core values: standing for truth, courage, faith, and influence in the public sphere.

What Christian Entrepreneurs Need to Know About Faith in Business

When someone who stood publicly for truth and faith is attacked, it reminds us that courage has a cost.

For the past three years I’ve felt the shift. I’ve been talking about the shift. I’ve witnessed the change in the entrepreneurial space. The pursuit of purpose,  rest, and using your God-given talents.

So many of us have successful businesses on paper, yet are falling apart on the inside. Meanwhile, we’ve been led to believe that hustle culture is the way—push more, do more, achieve more.

However, God calls us to rest. He calls us to stop striving and to build with Him and  to let Him lead, to give Him our burdens.

The Call to Courage for Christian Entrepreneurs

During these past years, I’ve seen many of you begin to speak up about your faith. Some have stepped away from the relentless rat race, searching for deeper meaning. God has been tugging at your spirit, inviting you to let Him in and carry the weight. As a result, you are starting to make bold choices that align with His guidance.

Ultimately, believers are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus—to spread the Good News. Yet too often, many continue hustling and building in ways that conflict with their heart’s convictions.

I don’t blame you; I was once there too.

But I also know you feel it: tomorrow is not promised. We must act with boldness and intention. Otherwise, the businesses we pour our lives into risk being built in vain. “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

This is a turning point.

Anyone who makes a living in the marketplace must decide now: to align their business with truth, courage, and God’s calling.

Practical Steps for Christian Entrepreneurs to Build God-Centered Businesses

Lean into clarity: What do you believe? Which truths should guide your work?

Be bold in your mission: Share your faith and values consistently through your brand, products, and leadership.

Exercise courage: Speak not always loudly, but consistently; not in grand speeches, but in everyday decisions.

Align business with God’s values: Prioritize integrity, justice, kindness, and truth over comfort. Read more about biblical leadership values here.

Seek God’s wisdom: Pray for courage and allow conviction, not fear of judgment, to guide your choices. Even when risks feel high, God honors faithfulness.

A Call to Action

Will we bury our voices or use them? Will we retreat or lean in? Although you may feel small, your influence matters. God can use small businesses, small platforms, and small steps to create a lasting impact.

The legacy of those who speak truth does not die with them—it multiplies. May your business carry a ripple effect that changes lives for eternity.
