WHO ARE YOU SPEAKING TO?
The #1 rule to create content that your audience will engage with is to KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE.
Who you are speaking to and you who do you want to attract! What are their likes/interests? What are their struggles?
When you understand your audience then you can create content that they will engage with and will help you be seen as the expert in your field. You can’t create for someone that you don’t know.
Spend 10/15 mins thinking about that one person that you would LOVE to work with on a consistent basis. Really get to know them and how you can best solve their problems

CONTENT CATEGORIES FOR SOCIAL MEDIA
Content Categories, content pillars, content buckets- all the same. This is where your audience can really get an all around feel for who you are, what your business is about, what you offer and how you can help them. Brainstorm 7-9 categories that you will rotate through.

Your ideal client is a busy entrepreneur mom who is struggling to create systems in her workflow to be more efficient in her business. She wants to spend more time with her kids and loves visiting the local hot spots in her neighborhood.
Your content categories:
- About Me
- Local (where you live)
- Tips and tricks
- Top 3 tips to creating systems in your business (her struggle + tips & tricks)
- How a virtual assistant can save you time so you can get your weekends back (Her need+ benefits/services)
- The best seafood restaurant in town (her social habits + local)
Now you’ve created content that your audience actually wants to read thus leading to more engagement!
